A Dream

I can feel your heart beat right next to mine.
Our hands that are forever intertwined.
Her voice calls for me in the darkest nights.
She becomes the sole purpose and my light.
I rather keep fueling this fantasy,
Then deal with being the sole casualty.
She told me what we had was just a dream.
If so, she's the best I have ever seen.
But I need to remember that nightmares
Are dreams too. She has caught me in a snare.
When a sweet dreams turns into something bad.
It might be time to let go and be glad.
The pain will only last for a moment.
It may feel like your life was torn apart.
Like an illusion, your dream won't last long.
Remember to always stay brave and strong.
Someone will eventually walk into your
Life. Pull you into a dream that last for hours.
You start to forget about this nightmare.
