A Pearl In His Hands
She looks from under her lashes sitting
still in her midnight flesh
He inhaled her as if she was a white rose and touched her silky pearl
A celestial sound passed from her feverish lips and into his mind
She was like rain rising up to the sky and becoming fog
Leaving moist traces of herself upon his rough hands
still in her midnight flesh
He inhaled her as if she was a white rose and touched her silky pearl
A celestial sound passed from her feverish lips and into his mind
She was like rain rising up to the sky and becoming fog
Leaving moist traces of herself upon his rough hands

I enjoyed this. It is thoughtful, but down to earth, and yet has the erotic undertones. The title alludes to so many things, and I love it. Nice piece.

The phrase "midnight flesh", makes quite an impact. Love the flower reference and using the word "rain" which leads me to the word dew.

That's what I was hoping for Jazz, so glad you got the rain/dew reference. Thank you 😊

Tommie, the last line is super-sensual...I'll admit drawing my fingers to my nose. Computer geek here hence no roughness
