Why can't I please you?

All I want is to please you
I want to be perfect
But everything I seem to do upsets you
All I want is to be normal
I want to be the reason you smile
Good grades aren't good enough 
Being able to skip grades isn't good enough
Playing cello and haveing the orchestra teacher wanting me to play isnt enough
I hide my thoughts 
Only because I know that they will disappoint you
Why can't I be normal like my younger sister
Why can't I ever seem to please you
Just why
