It's days like this
I question my sanity
I long for relief
From all my strife and grief
Why can't I breathe
My distress smothers me
Hoping for peace
I search for a release
Still I'm trying
To find my fire inside
Once it burned
Brighter than the sun
The embers long dead
Can they ever reignite
