Die Together, Thrive Alone

We'd die together
or thrive alone

Too often silence is violent

With words we kept and didn't say
roads were paved leading separate ways

We paid for the work with a weight of fears
Signed our signatures with quieted tears

Years have come
Years have gone
we fell to find we don't belong

We'd die together
or thrive alone

The empire's rule expired..
still a tune of triumph sung...

We'd die together
or thrive alone

With our last breath's exhale
a fruitful journey begun
