Water
God, if you're reading this,
Please help me get to an oasis,
As I desperately walk through the deserts of my mind,
Looking for a drop of water, and it's all I can find,
This drop in my hand is all that I have,
But as I walk through the sand, the water drains from my hand and I'm left with a gaze,
Into the blistering sand of this desert in my mind,
My soul is drying up, a thirst that cannot be quenched by the happiness of my body,
Lord please, wash me with your water.
