Nothing's nature

how is nothing so scary?
becoming nothing,
doing nothing,
or being nothing,
seems so scary,

Why?
nothing is nothing
that is its beauty
its nature
just nothing

this poem is nothing
yet someone will try make it something
perhaps meaningful,
like a quote from Oprah about the universe
or karma
or cancer

no matter
how much I say that this poem
has no meaning
to embrace pure nothingness
we humans can not,
more importantly will not accept it

strange how something must always be said or done,
to confirm our own existence
the battle between human nature and nothing
continues
