Circus Games
You think you've got this all figured out
You know just what to do
You're gonna play your cards
Stack them up and lay them down.
You'll take a chance
A well placed gamble
And you'll juggle all the lies and deciet
Whatever you have to do
To feed your delusions.
But at some point the knives, the lies,
Slip and you begin to fall
From high on the tightwire of power.
In that circus you were king
But this is my circus
Now I'm center ring
And when you fall there's no net to catch you
Because your net of lies have all unraveled.
You know just what to do
You're gonna play your cards
Stack them up and lay them down.
You'll take a chance
A well placed gamble
And you'll juggle all the lies and deciet
Whatever you have to do
To feed your delusions.
But at some point the knives, the lies,
Slip and you begin to fall
From high on the tightwire of power.
In that circus you were king
But this is my circus
Now I'm center ring
And when you fall there's no net to catch you
Because your net of lies have all unraveled.
