What Does "Confirm the Covenant"(Daniel 9.26-27) Mean?

The partial destroying of Jerusalem by Babylon(in 587 BC) is alluded to  
in these mournful words,"the desolation of Jerusalem"(Daniel 9.2).  
In particular Babylon destroyed the grandeur of Solomon's Temple.  
Daniel calls God's judgment upon Jerusalem via Babylon,  
"the fulfilling of the words spoken against us."(Dan 9.10-13).  
Referring to "the curses"(Deuteronomy 28) of "the Law,"  
Meaning the Law of Moses, the first 5 books of the Bible.  
So, if we use "shorthand," we can say the destruction of the city and temple =  
the confirming of the Law of Moses, aka "the Covenant of Moses."  
So, we can call it the confirming of the Covenant.  
 
Now why is that stuff important?  
Because in 70 AD the Romans repeated what the Babylonians had done.  
So we can assert that that later judgment of God was LIKEWISE  
the confirmation (of the curses) of the Law, the Covenant of Moses.  
Which in shorthand = the confirmation of the Covenant  
Now  that's important because it helps us grasp this prophecy,  
"..the prince who will come... he will CONFIRM THE COVENANT  
with many for one week [of years]" (Daniel 9.26-27).  
 
Based on what i have shown you above, this "confirming of the covenant"  
is simply a prophecy of the Roman army coming and confirming THE CURSES  
in the Law of  Moses by destroying and burning the city and the temple.  
Which prophecy was fulfilled, history books tell us, in 70 AD.  
 
So it has nothing, nothing, NOTHING to do with Israel today.  
That's the point!! of my writing this piece of work to you all.  
It was fulfilled WAY back in the 7 year war, 66 - 73 AD.  
The Roman-Jewish War usually is counted from 66 to 70 AD.  
But if you count the Roman siege of Masada (the last stronghold  
of the Jewish Zealots out in the desert) as the last battle or action  
of the war, this lets us count 73 AD as the end point,  
giving us the 7 years or "one week" that Daniel 9.27 requires !!  
The well reputed Encyclopedia Judaica dates the Roman-Jewish War this way:  
66 - 70/73 CE, thus showing that 66 - 73 is a legitimate alternative to 66 - 70.    
 
Why is it mandatory for us to take "confirm the Covenant" as referring to 66-73 ?  
Because these idiot preachers, these brain-dead "blind guides," are teaching that  
"the covenant" (Dan 9.27)refers to a PEACE TREATY between today's Israel and  
"the prince who will come," - the ruler of a revived Roman  empire, aka the Antichrist, "the Beast."    
 
These "[morons] in sheep's clothing" are totally mistaken when they imply  
that today's "restored" Israel would go astray by signing a deal with the evil Antichrist.  
For we read that after God brings about the restoration of the Nation of Israel,  
She will never stray again, forever more(Ezekiel 37.23-24).  
You may object, saying that the re-unification of the 12-tribed Israel(Ezekiel 37.16-22)  
has to happen as PART of the divinely endorsed "restoration" of Israel(Ezekiel 37.16-24).  
True enuff. The 1948 return of Israel wasn't Israel so much as Judah, the Southern kingdom.  
But in 1949-1950 the Jews accepted the 200+ Samaritans as full citizens, Jews,  
Via the ruling of the Knesset and/or the Supreme Court.  
The Samaritans, now numbering 800+, are the remnant    
of the "ten lost tribes" the northern kingdom !!!  
So the "joining of the two sticks"(the North and the South) has already happened (Ezekiel 37.16-22).  
So the Israel of today is the RESTORED full 12-tribed Israel.(Ezekiel 37.16-24).  
Next comes the invasion of Israel by Russia, the Arabs, etc(Ezekiel 38, Daniel 11.41)  
aka the invasion by "all [Russia-ruled] nations" (Zechariah 14.1-4;Isaiah 66.18),  
Which invasion is defeated by the Messiah (Zechariah 14.4,7;Daniel 11.45-12.1).
 
PS: these same know-nothing blockheads claim that  
the Israelis will rebuild the Jewish Temple
(which is then destroyed,later on, by the Antichrist, Dan 9.26).
For the Apostle Paul predicts that the Antichrist  
aka "the Man of Sin" will  
"sit in the temple of God
Showing himself that he is God" (2 Thessalonians 2.3-4).
No, the Jews won't rebuild the temple.
The Antichrist(Gorbachev,"Gog," Ez 38-39)  
will sit in the Moslem shrine, where the Jewish temple once was.
He may claim to be the Mahdi, the bogus Moslem savior.
(on the basis that he has delivered on Russia's promise to help "liberate Palestine,")
His sitting in the MOSLEM temple - that would still be enuff to fulfill Paul's words.
The Jewish temple replaces "the Abomination of Desolation," (Dan 12.11-12)
("the Dome of the Rock") only AFTER the Appearing of the Messiah.
See Ezekiel 40-48, he spends amazingly 9 chapters on the temple !
