Where are u

I've searched all the dark crevices to no avail. I'm nowhere to be found..
I hide my pain so deep inside that my cries  cause my soul to drown.
Where did I go ? Where have I been ? Am I ever to find myself again ?
This game of hide and seek I'm playing I feel  im not meant to win.
Or have I changed to such extremes that I no longer resemble me.
Did I look into my own eyes and not know that it's me I see ?
How can I not recognize myself and if found who would I find ?
So maybe it's best if I stay forever lost inside the darkness of my mind..
