Tears of site
`~,,~`
The electric light of freedom, stabs me in the back
And blinds me in mine eyes
Through tears of site, yes at last I see
I invite it in; I welcome it in as an old friend, whom I understand
Close and intimately;
It is cold clammy, and comfortable,
It is… openly familiar to me
Loosen up my heart, with time to see and breathe
The X Factor that is brought before me
`~.~`
The desert blooms,
Allowing for room of growth
Behold;
The cactus flowers how beautiful they are,
Gentle, silent and still,
They toil not, nor do they weep
For they are protected by the thorns of her lover,
Enfolding her in natural protection
Engorged and full of life’s vigor against the dry and dark that surrounds them
And the nightlife of the desert comes alive
In walls of silence I have never heard before
In city life
And the sound of it is deafening to me
The open handed trick of it beguiles me
The city, how she pretends to care for me
The night life of the city is full of want, greed, and ghosts of illusion,
In electric visions of ghosts reflected in bones of my face
Oh, how they dance,
So lovingly,
Yes,
Yes it is that smiles at me,
Fine and singing as I am taken home
```~~~…~~~```
The electric light of freedom stabs me,
Through tear and somber eyes, yes at last I see
Another lonely night is on the bough
Oh, winding roads that brought me here
And saved me, through what is right
```~~~… … …~~~```
