She Died Before We Kissed
a love story written inside a tomb
by poets who lived for sins
she died before we kissed
her nails entered my skin
she nailed me to a cross
my breath on her back
she loved it when we touched
like roses fucking in the breeze
she made me believe in a god
romance is a bitch, a female dog
she made me fall in love
i can't think of another word
but i guess
what i felt
was that
well according to the books
the books the books
words lie like the moon telling the stars
about the sun
i guess that was that
a lie about the face of love from
a woman as blind as me
she promised me everyday of her life
i promised her the sun of my heart
the oceans of my soul
she lied, i cried
she died before we kissed
so many bruises on my knees
kneeled in church altars praying to a god
mankind has ruined
no kind in mankind
society is piss
peace
nobody believes in this these days
we have forgotten love
she forgot me
i thought she was the one
i thought wrong
where did i go wrong?
what is wrong?
i mean the meaning
the meaning of wrong
the meaning of right
the meaning of life
the meaning of love
the meaning of time
the meaning of madness
her madness
my madness
your madness
the meaning of fate
heaven has no gate
we will all praise when we die
hell is fictional
better defined as a broken heart
she wrote her name on my heart
she died before we kissed
she left the moment i started enjoying it
time is an illusion
a rich man still begging for change
he asked her to change
she loved me for days
they tasted like eons
she did not feel the same
sweet memories smelled stale
she wrote her name on my heart
i laid on my back like a fool watching fireworks on new year’s eve forgetting
pens could be used to stab too
she wrote her name on my heart
she died before we kissed
she left the moment i started enjoying it.
