Euphemystically Seeking Float
Losing grasp fast
Losing the matters to me
Shreds me to tattered
If i weren't so tired
I would just up and combust
I need to swing away
Surging the urges
I take one in my night fright
I cannot hit
The dark pillows it
I only head on harder
Faster
And there i rise
Above ground
Feet dangle
Treading air in frustration
Mind twists
Twirls like wings of the cicada
Trapped in tummy
Screams for summer buzz howl
No decompression
Causing wretched expression
A cross twisted grin
Wears Gin
Hair tangles up in rats
Wants to grow long and down
Longs to sweep across ground
Longs for sweet gravity
And Earths touch
I miss the Earth so fucking much
Losing the matters to me
Shreds me to tattered
If i weren't so tired
I would just up and combust
I need to swing away
Surging the urges
I take one in my night fright
I cannot hit
The dark pillows it
I only head on harder
Faster
And there i rise
Above ground

Treading air in frustration

Wears Gin
Hair tangles up in rats
Wants to grow long and down
Longs to sweep across ground

Ahhh . . . Sounds to me as though your inner self
your Muse . . . Whatever . . . Says for you to slow
down a little, baby, and actually touch the ground,
wriggle your toes in the sand and return to your
roots . . . Eh, on the other hand it could be saying
after you wriggle your pretty toes in that sand, you
can lift off the ground and go back to where you
were, not forgetting how that sand felt between
your toes!
Long hair touching the ground? I hope not!

Yes babydoll..on both accounts. The long haired women..part of the Vril society..
Apart from the horrific association with Nazi Germany, I am intrigued with their belief in a cosmic communication transmitted perpetually by long uncut locks..not an original idea..
Samson lost his touch by Delilah s deep cut...
Nothing to do with anything beyond a need for direct flow of thought...and deep connection...
A bit manic.

Hah! "A bit manic," is something we get ourselves
into when the road become too oppressive or too
depressive . . . it helps clear the air, sha!
P.S.: sha . . . A term of affection

Jen,
even through that mania you express yourself beautifully. I hope you come down to earth soon but don't burrow in and go in the opposite direction ok? It seems like one leads to the other a lot of times and I hope you just steady out and become totally stabilized.
Thinking of you.
Love,
John

Read like a lost soul a-lookin' for some kind of redemption to me though to be honest I don't think I got to grips with this one. Maybe my lack of understanding should disqualify me from commenting, I dunno. I liked your poetic use of language as always but found the poem as a whole a little confusing. Sorry.

A manic mind lookin for ground..
I get up in thought and cannot come down at times..wrote it much like my manic thinkin...
Out of order..and a lil hard to understand...but all had reason behind it..
Wasn't meant to be understood word for word..
Merely felt. No worries kitty kat...
My soul is not lost..just get lost at times inside my own head.....
Love

This is a challenging one Jen, and it doesn't lend itself to easy interpretation. I thought it might be astral projection gone awry but I read some of the comments above.
"No decompression
Causing wretched expression
A cross twisted grin
Wears Gin"
These lines sound like the manic phase of the bipolar syndrome, something I'm all too familiar with when off my meds. Mixed feelings all the way.
It seems like you're experimenting, and if that's the case I'd say you're succeeding. Trying a variety of styles livens up your work. Fine job!

Thanks Thomas..great comments..
I'd say astral projection gone awry has a lot of merit to it..
Especially with the Vril ladies in my mind...i have a strange attachment to them..that i am not exactly comfy with..
Esoteric neo-Nazism is not something i aspire too..lol
Vril is the energy source..Vril society more a league of "un" gentlemen..
But the women..and their long lock connection to extraterrestrial thought and energy? Just a life long curiosity for me..and the hair energy thought pops up throughout religious literature and history..
There is a very intersting passage about hair in Temple Grandins book..
My favorite Anais Nin quote..
".... live according to the demons and the imagination in me. I'm restless. Things are calling me away. My hair is being pulled by the stars again."
I cant stand growing mine over my ears..
And for whatever reason..during mania..it becomes a demon.
That all sounded....?!
Lol
All my love darlin
