The Associate
I saw a beam of light break through,
a nimbus today,
It did not seem like any other way,
It can be defined to what to what i do,
or what I say,
remember why i looked up in the first place.
A bird's silhouette jumped off a curb,
which one am I?
falling down, or still up in the sky.
I looked at the world but that does not mean i know it,
for self-reflection,
takes more than a mirror's perception.
Sirens wailed past the walls of my 9-5 today,
who's in it?
How fast things can change in just one minute.
