I can't breathe
I can't breathe.
My chest is bursting for air as a single glass jewel escapes the corner of my eye.
The raw mass of emotion in my throat is unbearable.
I can't breathe
As the glistening droplet rolls over my ruby lips I taste the salt.
Another follows and then there is no stopping the downpour.
I can't breathe
Panic stricken, I begin drowning in the tiny diamonds falling from my eyes. Gasping, I swallow another mouthful of shards of my heart.
