Nobody Cried
I once knew a man who never cried
Apparently he never lied
Nor ate anything fried
He was clean inside
Could be seen ring side
With his brand new bride
Who he sat beside
All bright eyed
Puffed up with pride
He thought she would abide
Knowing he would provide
By his side
She’d reside
In him she’d confide
But then a backslide
He became insanely green eyed
And he tried and he tried
To keep her hog-tied
She became mortified
She sat dewy eyed
She cried and she cried
Her sadness intensified
His anger undignified
He should have been certified
But now she was petrified
Soon he was vilified
Their happiness set aside
Her mind now occupied
She’d discovered Cyanide
His guilty pleasure, French fried
The poison she’d hide
Over time he retired
And died
I once knew a man who never cried
And when he died
Buried deep down inside
We found out he’d lied
And nobody cried
Apparently he never lied
Nor ate anything fried
He was clean inside
Could be seen ring side
With his brand new bride
Who he sat beside
All bright eyed
Puffed up with pride
He thought she would abide
Knowing he would provide
By his side
She’d reside
In him she’d confide
But then a backslide
He became insanely green eyed
And he tried and he tried
To keep her hog-tied
