In torrent winters, as I have always done
`~,,~`
As I have always done, in torrent winters
Like a weakened pride
My friend, I once held you in my hand
As tarnished silver
We have become,
Though I can’t let go
I still linger around you
As sweet smoke risen from embers of fallen cedar
and partly laid before you,
Ashen on the ground;
```~~~...~~~```
In my weakened pride
I visit
Before you,
Unworthy as I am,
Kneeling in prayer
In times of my torrent winters,
Warmed, in front of abandoned chapel doors
As I have always done
I come in front of you once again
Asleep,
sleeping upon forest floors of mind and soul,
Speak kindly to me, my friend,
For I am carrying,
Through warmless winters droves
As I have always done
My aimless torrents drifting
Finding sleep upon thyne shore
Carrying the embers ashes
of tarnished silver within my soul;
```~~~... ... ...~~~```
As I have always done, in torrent winters
Like a weakened pride
My friend, I once held you in my hand
As tarnished silver
We have become,
Though I can’t let go
I still linger around you
As sweet smoke risen from embers of fallen cedar
and partly laid before you,
Ashen on the ground;
```~~~...~~~```
In my weakened pride
Unworthy as I am,
Kneeling in prayer
In times of my torrent winters,
Warmed, in front of abandoned chapel doors
As I have always done
Speak kindly to me, my friend,
For I am carrying,
Through warmless winters droves
As I have always done
My aimless torrents drifting
Finding sleep upon thyne shore
