In Possession
While the moon’s in possession of the sky
He’s certainly in control of the wench;
Their cast behind closed windows won’t deny
The way the shadows change each time the clench
Of his hand round her throat seems to relieve
The tension and the stillness of the night;
And he holds himself ready to believe
That she’ll be his: he thrusts with all his might
To force a cry from her – a little scream
Of pain and pleasure and excitement too;
As cloudless skies are split by the moon beam;
And he pushes her further, to renew
Her vows and her surrender – let her swoon;
For he is in possession, like the moon.
He’s certainly in control of the wench;
Their cast behind closed windows won’t deny
The way the shadows change each time the clench
Of his hand round her throat seems to relieve
The tension and the stillness of the night;
And he holds himself ready to believe
That she’ll be his: he thrusts with all his might
To force a cry from her – a little scream
Of pain and pleasure and excitement too;
As cloudless skies are split by the moon beam;
And he pushes her further, to renew
Her vows and her surrender – let her swoon;
For he is in possession, like the moon.
