Your life is so beautiful
I wish I could have
Even just a fraction
Of an adventure so rich
And a mind so free
Your vibrant breath
And crackling, blood-orange leaves
Beneath your knowing steps
They reveal your history
Long forgotten
I'll remember
This autumn day
As if it were my own
As if I already
Know what you knew
