I'm sorry my love
Where did you go my love?
I just kissed you good morning.
We sat on the deck,
Having our morning coffee.
Why can't you feel me?
I caress your face in my hand,
But you don't know,
That I'm even there.
Can you hear me my love?
I tell you that I love you,
But you don't respond,
Staring blankly out the window.
Why do you cry?
Is it something I said,
That made you upset?
What can I do to make it better?
I'm sorry that I left you,
To face this world all alone.
I wish I could tell you, I love you,
And hug you one last time.
I will wait until the day,
That I see your beautiful face.
Then, again, we will be whole.
I just kissed you good morning.
We sat on the deck,
Having our morning coffee.
Why can't you feel me?
I caress your face in my hand,
But you don't know,
That I'm even there.
Can you hear me my love?
I tell you that I love you,
But you don't respond,
Staring blankly out the window.
Why do you cry?
Is it something I said,
That made you upset?
What can I do to make it better?
I'm sorry that I left you,
To face this world all alone.
I wish I could tell you, I love you,
And hug you one last time.
I will wait until the day,
That I see your beautiful face.
Then, again, we will be whole.
