Tonight (Lilies)
Tonight we'll sleep with lilies,
and dress our ears in pearls.
We'll lie beneath the boughs,
and softly visit different worlds.
A flash of flesh.
A fleeting breath,
now wipe the dew from out your curls.
Tonight we'll walk the shores,
and leave our clothes up on the land.
Tonight we'll meet the ocean,
and get washed away like sand.
Such a sweet and gentle mistress--
this rocking of the waves.
Hold me close now mistress,
I can feel it in my veins.
Tonight is ours to wander,
the sidestreets of our hearts.
Yes, tonight we'll sleep with lilies,
we will redefine the arts.
As the dawn day's sun approaches,
and bathes us in its glow,
your eyes dance from umber unto amber,
in a universal flow.
From our bed of lilies,
will sprout a forest made of dreams.
With our toes entwined, we will flow like wine,
we will bathe our souls in streams.
Yes, from our bed of lilies,
will spring a forest so serene
Now take my hand so closely,
as we walk this waking dream
and dress our ears in pearls.
We'll lie beneath the boughs,
and softly visit different worlds.
A flash of flesh.
A fleeting breath,
now wipe the dew from out your curls.
Tonight we'll walk the shores,
and leave our clothes up on the land.
Tonight we'll meet the ocean,
and get washed away like sand.
Such a sweet and gentle mistress--
this rocking of the waves.
Hold me close now mistress,
I can feel it in my veins.
Tonight is ours to wander,
the sidestreets of our hearts.
Yes, tonight we'll sleep with lilies,

will sprout a forest made of dreams.
With our toes entwined, we will flow like wine,
we will bathe our souls in streams.
Yes, from our bed of lilies,
will spring a forest so serene
Now take my hand so closely,
as we walk this waking dream
