Please Please

You can flash the radiant smile
wear the scent a guy can't forget
do the walk that turns heads
but if you have any empathy
don't don the stockings
Warm breaths may grace the ears
soft fingers lift the hairs on the skin
lipstick reflecting the hottest desire
but if you have any mercy for the weaker sex
don't lace those delicious gams with stockings
You see my imagination has few restraints
and is way too devious
a saint I will never be
especially in the dead of night
I know nothing about who you are
what is your passion and bliss
the quirks that make you unique
your pet peeves
those natural highs you can't do without
your voice is embedded in my memory
warmed by even a brief moment that found your
attention directed my way
The one thing I ask is
please, please don't wear the stockings tonight
