The GOOD Side of Reincarnation (the Survival of Animals!)

Without Reincarnation we have
little basis (or none at all) for hope
that the animals we love and care about
Will survive the death of the body.
Christianity is strangely deficient
in regard to the animal kingdom.

If dogs and cats, etc do survive death,
It would be unfair for them to remain
Just dogs, cats, - intellectually hobbled -
While human souls move up to angel status.
For Christ promised us that after death
People "become like the angels"(Luke 20.26).
(The suffix "ic" means "like."
So angel-like is synonymous to angelic.
So Christ is saying we become angelic !!)

Animals, too, should move up,
Have upward mobility in the afterlife !!
That is the hope that Reincarnation theory provides them.

What Biblical support is there for Reincarnation ?
Not much, but its still enough:
We read that in regard to the Judgment,
"the Word of God is..powerful..
dividing asunder the soul from the spirit [of man]"
After the death of the body(Hebrews 4.12).
What is the implication here?
Well, Christ said, "Fear Him [God] who can destroy...
The soul in hell"(Matthew 10.28; Luke 12.5).
While "the spirit goes back to God who gave it"(Ecclesiastes 12.7).

In short, after death, the souls of the damned are destroyed,
But their spirits live on !!
The soul would refer to that part of the mind
Where memories are stored.
So the destruction of the soul(Mt 10.28)
Would mean the erasing of your memories,
The loss of your self-identification as a person.

Your spirit would then be free to be
incarnated into another human body!

But doesn't that contradict the Christian doctrine of hell?
Yes and no, yes if hell means eternal torment.
But no, if hell means (1)TEMPORARY torment
(The torment you go thru UNTIL
you agree to the soul-destruction:
memory erasure and the loss of the old self), and
(2)The permanent destruction of that part of you

The Bible says two things about hell:
(1)Hell is eternal destruction
(2)Hell is eternal torment.
If this is actually a case of conflating,
Then we need to SEPARATE the temporary (torment)
From the eternal (destruction).
It is NOT that the destroying goes on forever.
Rather, the idea is that once the soul is destroyed,
It is gone forever, permanently destroyed !!
(Eternal Destruction)
Reincarnation does not do away
With the destruction that Christianity preaches.
The loss of your memory is painful,
It seems like the end of everything you are!
That is truly a SERIOUS amount of destruction !!
