Tell Me
Tell me what I did wrong
So I can approve and change
Tell me I'm nothing special
That way I don't have to worry about dying
Tell me more of your lies
So I can end up believing them in the end
Tell me I'm sweet
That way I don't have to change who I am
Tell me I matter
So I can actually believe someone cares
Tell me I'm your to hold
So I can have something to squeeze when my tears fall out
Tell me the truth
So I can hear one thing in my life is true
Tell me you love me
That way I can walk up to you
Hold out a lovely red rose
And tell you that
I love you too
So I can approve and change
Tell me I'm nothing special
That way I don't have to worry about dying
Tell me more of your lies
So I can end up believing them in the end
Tell me I'm sweet
That way I don't have to change who I am
Tell me I matter
So I can actually believe someone cares
Tell me I'm your to hold
So I can have something to squeeze when my tears fall out
Tell me the truth
So I can hear one thing in my life is true
Tell me you love me
That way I can walk up to you
Hold out a lovely red rose
And tell you that
I love you too
