Camelot
She began to undress slowly
Behind the slumbering back of the man who would relinquish his entire kingdom
To bow his head into her lap
Yet too much is never enough
So she fell, victim
To devouring eyes
Possibly hungry herself for attention
She examines the heat of her flesh
Handprints of passionate possession
Wounds inflicted by fiery release
The marks of the vampire to whom she'd surrendered her soul
Siege was not required to penetrate the fortress
Just a few pretty words created a tsunami that flooded the moat
He sailed the smooth waters until they receded into the palms of his hands
The ache of his loins
The thirst of his tongue
Sinful guilt welling in her eyes
Cloaked in the darkness of eyelashes that batted hurricanes
Just hours ago
She returned a knave
No longer worthy of royal appointment
Or the man at her side
The room began to beckon the coming of the sun
The rise of the luminary
He stirred
Awakened by the clamor of the crown falling from the throne
Behind the slumbering back of the man who would relinquish his entire kingdom
To bow his head into her lap
Yet too much is never enough
So she fell, victim
To devouring eyes
Possibly hungry herself for attention
She examines the heat of her flesh
Handprints of passionate possession
