Soul Removal
I was a child once
Lost my language and village
Scorched earth became words that kill
The whispers in a fever
This time, it came calling
Turned me stranger from post to post
Freedom distorted and hideous
Regardless of the view
Rest in peace
Consume and transpire
Lingua Franca, death of one's self
Descending value
Subversion of my thoughts
Created a crossing with one answer
Life after the slaughter
The lack of pain
All it did was keep us open
Spooky puncture in the Achilles heel
Breathe like I'm dying
Rest in peace
Peeled skin and identity
A burning fire seducing the bones
How you've changed
Soul cracked for the demon within
Oblivious, where you remain
A horn on one side
See the big picture
Voices exist without consent
This crushing vacuum you will endure
But now, go to sleep
Make your peace
Lost my language and village
Scorched earth became words that kill
The whispers in a fever
This time, it came calling
Turned me stranger from post to post
Freedom distorted and hideous
Regardless of the view
Rest in peace
Consume and transpire
Lingua Franca, death of one's self
Descending value
Subversion of my thoughts
Created a crossing with one answer
Life after the slaughter
The lack of pain
All it did was keep us open
Spooky puncture in the Achilles heel
Breathe like I'm dying
Rest in peace
Peeled skin and identity
A burning fire seducing the bones
How you've changed
Soul cracked for the demon within
Oblivious, where you remain
A horn on one side
See the big picture
Voices exist without consent
This crushing vacuum you will endure
But now, go to sleep
Make your peace
