Master and Servant (Needlepoint Daydreams)
Roll up your sleeve
Expose the vein
The parasite needs
To feed again
He looks in your eyes,
Seduces your brain,
Makes you lie on the bed
And whisper his name
It's always the same
Again and again
But you think it's different
Once again
Until the pain
Wakes you up again
And you're finally sane
For a moment of blame
Until your eyes slowly
Close again
And you fall asleep
In the rain.

excellent dark piece, fascinating repetition and rhyming scheme. I think I would have preferred the title simply as 'Needlepoint Daydreams' but that's just a personal view :-)
