Trick or Treat, a Zombie's at my door
Twas the night ,of All Hollow's eve
Elsa stood at the door, waiting for reprieve
She had plans to escape, on this chaotic night
She waited for a Zombie, to come and help her fight
She waited patiently, for him to arrive
Imagine what she felt, when the saw his Corpse Bride
He said, I can't help you, I want to apologize
But I have decided to fight through hell, on this awful night
He reached out his hand, it was like ice to touch
She felt that letting go, might just be too much
They were alike, yet so different in many ways
But tonight their hands were cold, as was their gaze
She went ahead and let him go, the night took a twisted turn
Her eyes turned to fire
and all she did was burn
She went ahead and turned around, went back to the house
She decided she would stay, and be quiet as a mouse
Some things are felt more, when they are not heard
And she was staying silent, cause she could not say a word
Which for her, was really bad, she had always liked to sing
and she couldn't now, she was like an Angel with damaged wings
She first accepted her new image, a sight no one should ever look upon
Everyone was surprised, when she was up and gone.
The Zombie thought he could hear wings batting, to stay in the air
But he was quickly distracted after all, why should he care
She was fallen, he should not be concerned
He was just a Zombie sent to watch her burn.
But Zombies never die, they quickly recover
He and his Corpse bride, at least they had each other.
