Who is Lucifer?

The bible does not once
say that Lucifer
rules over hell

So who is he?
A high ranking demon
That reveals himself on more than one occasion
A servant to the real devil

God never reveals himself to people
Why should the ruler of hell be any different?
Angels and demons are surely known
to do the work

Then who is Lucifer?
Is Lucifer just a title?
A distraction?
From a bigger threat

Who knows...
