The Lost and Trying To Find

The American Dream is Africans worst nightmare;
Where the red, blue and white has painted over the red, gold and green with a double coat.
we rested our strength through gods when we fell praise to the paper size Benjamin Franklin.;
Gravity gave up on pulling us down to earth, when we started to float on by with spaceships to moons.

The perspective of culture has surrendered when we wondered what the star twinkle banner was;
Ebony skin tones got weaved out lite, to be straight, just cause we relaxed and let down our hair down.
Identity is packed and erased by the motion boxes and distortion played its part with the changing times;
As our roots shrunk when our tree trunks began to bend and dance to social winds when ever they blew.

Grave diggers of poverty, selling mother nature's skin to be placed on foreheads of foreign royalty;
While we scrap our way through life, by means of not being my brothers keeper.
As our characters blend in, to fit in just for to be easily accepted beyond borders;
enslaved minds have been kept captive, not to know, who is who...
