Wishes

 most people wish for money,
for beauty, fame
everybody wants something that they can't have
maybe the wealthy, with all their money
are miserable inside,
perhaps the beautiful are always frightened
of not knowing if they are loved for their heart or just  their looks,
perchance the famous wish for privacy
a chance to lead a normal life,
everyone wants something
as a child I too had my wishes
I wanted beauty, I wanted love and happiness,
wealth, fame, to be anyone other then me,
gone are those childhood wishes,
replaced by a new wish
a longing like all the others
that i can never have
another wish that will never come true,
my wish
is to have never been born,
to never know such pain, hurt, heartache
a wish that is unattainable
forcing me to go on.
