Noah's Flood in the Bible and the Black Sea Flood - Are They the Same Thing?

Scientists have found remains of an ancient northern coastline    
of the Black Sea, which sea is located in southern Russia,
Right above Turkey, to the northeast of the Mediterranean Sea.
This ancient coastline is now submerged.
It runs east to west and is at the midway point  
on the line running north to south thru the Black Sea.
 
What it means is that the Black Sea used to be like half its present size.
The southern half of the Black Sea was originally all there was.
The increase in size was almost all to the north.
The implication is that an ancient flood swallowed up the land,
Until it basically doubled the boundaries of the Black Sea.  
By analyzing the mud layers the flood can be dated to about 5,540 BC
 
Parts of the Gilgamesh tale about  
an ancient super flood point to the Black Sea.
For example, the phrase, "the sea of death" is used.
Implying that the flood waters of a certain sea  
caused a great number of deaths, wholesale destruction.
 
In turn, the more recent Flood account written by Moses
Most likely is actually based on the Gilgamesh tale.
If so, then Noah's Flood goes back to the Black Sea Flood !!
 
But Noah's Flood was supposedly world-wide(Genesis 7.19-24).
Whereas the Black Sea Flood destroyed "the world,"
Only in the very limited, subjective sense,
"the world" as the inhabitants north of the Black Sea knew it.
 
So to harmonize the two accounts,  
the Biblical story and the scientific finding,  
Arrived at by professor William Ryan of Columbia University
(and Walter Pittman of .....),  
We have to reduce Noah's Flood from world-wide  
to just "the known world," of the civilization involved.
In short we have to de-mythologize the Biblical account!  
 
But this doesn't discredit the Bible  
For the Apostle Paul, Christ's mouth-piece,  
Informs us that we are "no longer under the Law"(Galatians 5.18; Romans 6.14),
Which refers to "the Law of Moses," meaning the first five books of the Bible!
Especially the first eleven chapters of Genesis with its account of Noah's Flood!
 
What does "No longer under the Law [of Moses]" mean?
Among other things it means that certain passages  
do NOT the same level of accuracy as the rest of the Bible.
And so we are not duty-bound to hold to, and defend, them.
 
While science dates the Black Sea Flood at about 5,540 BC,
Moses dates Noah's Flood at around 2,400 BC,
Something like 400 years before Abraham's day.
 
While the Bible is the "Special Revelation" of God by God,
the scientific research into the Black Sea Flood equals
Some of the "General Revelation" of God by God(Romans 1.19-20).
Paul the Apostle calls the data we (the scientists) get from Nature
"The Word of God"(Romans 10.17-18 based on Psalms 19.1-4).
 
In short, like "scripture interprets scripture",
So too Revelation interprets Revelation,
General Revelation(science) interprets Special Revelation(the Bible),
And vice versa.
There's nothing wrong with using science to
determine the historicity of Noah's Flood.
We should desire to find the truth.
For the truth is God's Word (John 17.17).

Christ said "the Day of the Son of Man will be like the days of Noah"(Luke 17.26-27),
The days of the Son of Man" is when Judgment by fire occurs,
"It will be just like the day that fire fell from the sky
And destroyed them all"(luke 17.28-32), the inhabitants of Sodom.
The Judgment by fire comes via Russia, nuclear fireballs.
But it turns out that the judgment in Noah's day ALSO involved...RUSSIA.
For the actual locality of the Flood was just north of the Black Sea, Russian geography!!!
