- - - WHEN THE FALL ECLIPSED THE DAWN - - -
So many times I tried to speak
Only to find a turned back
Hatred burned, I thought myself weak
Vision going from red to black
The stars aligned just out of reach
I stood alone at the breach
Search for answers in empty skies
Finding nothing in vacant eyes
My trust was broken
On those jagged stones
Cast out, words spoken
And left far from home
Once upon a time pride burned in me
Now my heart is blackened with poisoned seeds
The fall eclipsed the dawn when I was torn
From the skies beneath the father's scorn
I seek the flaw in your dead heart
Should've known right from the start
That madness simmers in our blood
Like vermin burrowing in mud
The earth was shattered
From my cold downfall
Fallen star scattered
On volcanic walls
I reach to the sky far away
Just to see a sign of you
I hope but never dare to pray
Someday soon you will see the truth
Once upon a time pride burned in me
Now my heart is blackened with poisoned seeds
The fall eclipsed the dawn when I was torn
From the skies beneath the father's scorn
The seasons pass without reasons
That I can see, but I can hear
Souls crying in anguish
Over my own bitter tears
Once above all now I'm below
It's all I can see, it's all I can hear
Souls wailing in torment
Over my own anguished screams
ANGUISHED SCREAMS
DEAFENING
UNTIL MY EARS BLEED
UNTIL MY EARS BLEED
ANGUISHED SCREAMS
RENDERING
UNTIL I GROW NUMB
UNTIL I GROW NUMB
and when the silence lingers
fingers tremble on volcanic stone
i rise to my feet
and find my throne
FIND MY THRONE
ATOP THE BONES
Once upon a time pride burned in me
Now my heart is blackened with poisoned seeds
The fall eclipsed the dawn when I was torn
From the skies beneath the father's scorn
Pity me not
For I shall show none
For you
