She's eighteen years old when she falls in love for the first time.
He's a boy with ambitions and promises.
He's a boy that has the ability to make her feel alive.
His ambition is her ambition.
To leave behind the dreary streets of their hometown.
To move onto the sunny skies of someplace new.
He promises to give her the world.
She believes him.
Years later, when the boy with ambition has moved on and separated himself from her life, she's still a long ways from home.
She still resides in the place that contained every possibility she dreamed on, and she had yet to experience any of them.
When she's nearing her mid-twenties, she falls in love for a second time.
He's older and more mature, but he promises the same promises, and again, she believes him.
He's wealthy enough to carry out these promises, and maybe that's what makes it all seem just as possible as it did the first time.
When he asks her to marry him, she says yes.
She never thought she'd regret it.
When she's moved back to the gloomy location of her hometown, she's married.
He gives her a mansion and he gives her wealth, and she never thought a dream come true could turn out to be such a nightmare.
She doesn't love him. Not anymore.
And it's when a fresh face steps into her life that she falls in love for the third time.
He's the silent and mysterious type, the kind that thrives off danger and regrets, and it makes her feel alive again.
He makes her want to run away.
Run away from the mansion and the wealth and to start over again.
He saves her life and in a way, she saves his.
She falls in love for the last time.
