The woman I am
Raised by strength
It is in me
Embedded
The Struggles
The Pain
So I know I have to stand strong
A Black Woman
Representing my name given to me by Mothers before me
I have huge shoes to fill
My job
To be the woman I was raised to be
My job
to raise my daughter to be the woman I have tried to be wished to be and at times failed to be
