Saving Gracefully
I, who am undeserving of such love,
was sent a beautiful Angel from above.
No wings, no halo to be seen;
Light eyes, dark hair, a dream.
Sent to me while drowning in
sorrow and pain.
Freeing me from my anguish,
unlocking my chains.
Looking within, holding me
deep her gaze.
Showing me, leading me
out of this maze,
No longer lost nor dismayed,
My salvation given; not paid.
She has taken my fears away,
She has taken my tears today.
She has shown me the way
To embrace life each day,
Refusing, sorrow to hold sway.
To live lovingly each day.
This beautiful Angel
sent to me,
when I needed
Her so urgently.

Ahhh . . . I remember when this happened to me, Keith. I was about as far down as you could go and "she" walked into my life. So, I could have written this poem, but of course I didn't write it, YOU wrote it. But I relate so much.

Simply a beautiful ode to an angel; being mindful that they come in the rarest of sorts and do exist.. Thank you so much for writing this... I enjoy the peace I felt in reading it.

Re: Re. Saving Gracefully
Winter, we all need someone that
brings peace to our soul and gives
us comfort. These angels come in all
kinds of forms. I am so glad you enjoyed; for that is the greatest compliment.
Thanks
