Damnation of the Soul
I drank from your thorned chalice.
I felt your good hard brick.
I've suffered as your malice
Left my heart feeling sick.
The rose that came to pierce steel,
You held me in my throes...
Till, with nothing left to feel,
I succumbed to your blows.
But no, you were not finished...
Such cruelty at hand.
With all my worth diminished,
My soul was not yet damned.
So you preyed upon the corpse,
Of a man, once knight, now naught
But a pauper time came to warp
In the hands of a despot.
I watched my lifeblood tasted,
As your nails pierced my chest...
A reality wasted
On a man forfeiting breath.
Laughter echoed through the night,
As to body soul was bound.
Then you squeezed the heart so damn tight
That it burst with a sick sound.
The glee witnessed in your eyes
The last thing I'd ever see.
In my head I tallied the lies
That brought this ending to be.
Character flaw sumation
Tallied to lust, but little more;
Enough to bring Damnation
At spiteful hands of a witch whore!
