GREEN (The Other Version) Chapter Two

Making their way to the parking lot Amber and Edward Davis say their goodbyes.  That's odd, there's a lot of officers that buy sex from the girls at Club Envy.  Thought Amber Forest as she got behind the wheel of her Volks Wagon Jetta.  As Amber drove home she questioned why Ivy would send her brother to the Emerald Lady to handle such a small debt.  "This is not like Ivy to act like this.  I wonder what's really going on?  Then there's Edward Davis.  I wonder if Jade is up and about.   Maybe she can tell me more about the situation with Edward Davis.  The two of them are closer as friends and why didn't he ask her to watch over Club Envy?" said Amber thinking out loud.  Grabbing her cellphone out of her pocketbook Amber called Jade.  "Hey Jade what's good?  I'm glad you're up" said Amber with one hand holding her cellphone and the other hand on her steering wheel.  "Hey Amber you know I'm a jewel that shines brighter at night.  What's good?" said Jade.  "Do you know what's going on with Edward Davis?  Do you know about his situation with the police and him leaving town?" asked Amber.  "Yeah he mentioned it to me.  He told me the police had been giving him a hard time recently.  Even the officers who buy sex from the girls at Club Envy.  He said he wanted to talk with you about his situation.  Davis told me he was leaving town and that I should do the same.  Davis also said the police was about to make it hard for us to make money in Green Haven" said Jade.  Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly Amber says "He asked me to watch over Club Envy while he was gone.  I thought he would ask you since y'all are closer as friends but he advised you to leave town.  Are you?"  "Me Jade Moss leave town?  I know you don't think I'll let some corrupt police officers run me out of Green Haven" said Jade.  "Jade Moss a real ass gangster who stands her ground.  Stay in touch Jade.  The Black Crime Syndicate and the Jade Dragons are going to need each other more then ever.  I'll speak with you later Jade" said Amber.  Tossing her cellphone in the passenger seat Amber drove home.  I'll pay Ms. Ivy a surprise visit first thing in the morning" said Amber Forest as she parked in front of her house.  Amber never did like waking up early in the morning.  She was a night person.  She wore the night like a coat.  "Ivy better have a good excuse for her actions.  I don't do this daytime thing" said Amber.  When ever Amber stepped out of her house she made sure she was dressed to kill.  Even if she was only taking out the trash she dressed like she was a model walking down the runway and today was no different.  Amber walked out of her house wearing red Timberland boots, black jeans, and a red Born Sinners shirt.  Amber got in her car and drove to the Ivy Rose Hotel.  "I can't believe this bitch got me out this early in the morning.  Let's see how she like it when I show up at her hotel.  The Ivy Rose Hotel is doing great.  Me and Ivy have always been good friends.  I don't understand why she would act like this.  This isn't like her" said Amber.  As Amber pulled up in the parking lot of the Ivy Rose she couldn't help but notice all the cars.  "What is this bitch thinking?" Amber asked herself.  As Amber strolled through the hotel lobby and up to the receptionist desk she was amazed at how well the Ivy Rose was doing.  "Excuse me sir I would like to speak with the owner" said Amber Forest as she stood in front of the receptionist.  "I don't think the owner is here Ms" answered the young man.  "I'll give her a call and find out" said Amber.  Taking center stage in the hotel lobby an angry Amber called Ivy Rose.  "I'm surprised you answered my call.  I'm at your hotel.  Are you here?" asked Amber.  "What ever you have to say Amber you can say it over the phone" said Ivy.  "Ivy don't test me.  I thought we were friends.  You owe me a face to face" said Amber.  "Sure but we will talk in the hotel lobby.  I'll be there in five minutes" said Ivy.  Taking a seat in the hotel lobby Amber waited for Ivy.
