To Wonderland Come
I'm shivering alone in this cave of mine
Lost, without a plan
Cursing, what I am
Then suddenly your whispers played
I heard promises of a wonderland
And desperately reached for your
HAND!
IN MINE
INTERTWINED
A LIGHT ENTERED THE DARK
I FELT
MY HEART
HUSH HAPPILY WITH DELIGHT
Now I have you here, and I truly see
This cave of my memory isn't a home for me
I'm mesmerized by the light in your eyes
Shimmering, with life
Happy, unlike mine
You promised you'd take me away
So I believed in you
And you believed in
ME!
MY FLOOD
MY CRY
WE DANCED OUT OF THE DARK
I FELT
A SPARK
RUSH ME BACK TO LIFE
Now you have me here, and I truly believe,
The wonderland you're from is where I want to be
I'm scared, I'll fail, I'll break again
As free as I am, I feel the haunt of a hazy requiem
Numb from constant hesitation
Swimming in a pool of godly medicine
"Come, come" I hear you calling
Yelling, you're an angel, my only chance at ever feeling happy and heavenly again,
Give me life
ME!
I CRIED
OUT "GOD,"
YOU'VE SAVED ME FROM THE DARK
I FELT
YOUR HEART
BLUSH WILDLY AROUND MY SIDES
This wonder isn't a land
It's my own, it's within me
My god, it feels the way you promised it to be
