Modesty becomes Her.
I tell her she's beautiful she blushes,
Gorgeous she smiles,
She doesn't believe it,
Her eyes betray her smile,
Brown eyes that sparkle when I say her name,
Her flawed perfection takes my breath away,
The way a room lights up when she walks inside,
The way she has an imperfect array of teeth,
The way she can't look me directly in the eye,
The way she has to lift up her heels just to kiss me,
The way she gets awkward in social circles,
The way she overthinks simple situations,
Just the way she is,
We meet tonight on top of the world,
Exhilarated atmosphere infused with calmness,
I inch closer to her as does she to me,
Eyes in contact tonight - is it her soul looking at me?
Lips locked in an intertwining embrace of a yearning untold,
All stops apart from we - time stands still,
She pulls away as do I, ashamed she is,
Whether she did it right - virgin lips,
Her heart beat increases as I unclasp my hand from her waist,
I twirl her around - she swirls, beauty in motion,
I take her hand and whisper "I love you"
She pulls away scared of words so new to her,
Innocence that consumes her with unsurety,
An untainted pure blissful innocence,
She stares at me crooked smiley "I know"
The sparkle in her eyes shines brighter,
The flush on her cheeks glows redder,
Her breathing same as mine,
Though she takes my breath away every second I see her in my eyes.
Gorgeous she smiles,
She doesn't believe it,
Her eyes betray her smile,
Brown eyes that sparkle when I say her name,
Her flawed perfection takes my breath away,
The way a room lights up when she walks inside,
The way she has an imperfect array of teeth,
