In my cellar home
forever hid from the world
always cool and dark
Days spent reading books
in a world all of my own
on my little cot
I imagine earth
Places I will never see
just on printed page
Look over the sea
View the endless desert plains
The vastness of sky
Ever denied me
my deformities condemned
by my Christian dad
