My Silent Rain
My silent rain
Stems from buried pain
And repeated cries
That never dies
A plea for help
To the other half of self
But brushed away by ignorance
And forgotten, non-existent
A downpour of fears
Drowning in a sea of tears
Does no good to speak
Explanation drains and makes me weak
Release these chains
So this water can drain
But no one hears my silent rain
That is made from buried pain
Which is compiled by present strain
And robs me of my name
Teach me to speak
So our future is not so bleak
Help me to be understood
So we can live and love like we should
But until then my cloud stays
Looking for the absent rays
And the pain
Will stay
With my silent rain.
Stems from buried pain
And repeated cries
That never dies
A plea for help
To the other half of self
But brushed away by ignorance
And forgotten, non-existent
A downpour of fears
Drowning in a sea of tears
Does no good to speak
Explanation drains and makes me weak
Release these chains
So this water can drain
But no one hears my silent rain
That is made from buried pain
Which is compiled by present strain
And robs me of my name
Teach me to speak
So our future is not so bleak
Help me to be understood
So we can live and love like we should
But until then my cloud stays
Looking for the absent rays
And the pain
Will stay
With my silent rain.
