Friend Zone

What is this thing they call a friend zone?
It shouldn't matter how you are loved as long as it's shown.
Is there boundaries and rules?
Is this taught in schools?
Just because you love someone doesn't mean you have to screw,
It's being yourself and can talk to them about anything out of the blue.
I'm sick and tired of hearing I don't won't to end up there,
I wouldn't mind being around someone I can let down my hair.
Why does it always have to be in black and white,
When things don't go your way you want to take flight.
Friend zones are bullshit excuses if you ask me,
Best to be friends before lovers anyway. Drama free!!
