I like to pretend that,
She isn't here,
I like to pretend that,
She disappeared,
And I run,
From the truth,
And I run,
Towards you,
She always seems to catch up with me,
And I cry and I cry and I cry
You and me I know we'll never ever be,
But I still lie and I lie and I lie
Yesterday the tears came down,
You were in your girlfriend's town,
You spent the weekend at her house,
And I feel so small like I'm like a mouse,
Maybe in another life,
We'll both be free,
Maybe some other day,
You'll fall for me,
Maybe at sometime,
You'll want it to be,
Maybe it's nothing but,
Wishful thinking,

excellent work i think this stanza ia a stand alone poem in it's own right
