Case File 19: Operation Ascendance (Star Wars: The Old Republic, Imperial Agent)

KEEPER: Containment protocols have been activated,
Bring in that traitorous alien.
AGENT: Sir, are we really going to follow procedure and have this scum interrogated?
This conspirator is an abomination who betrayed the Empire, she deserves nothing less than to be swiftly eliminated!
If anything her head on a pike should sate the bloodthirsty mobs outside,
Even if she isn't guilty she'll be a good enough scapegoat for our alibis.
KEEPER: Agent, I am still the keeper of this cell as it was designated,
And as such I will handle this situation properly regardless of how many rumors were instigated.
AGENT: With all due respect sir, I motion that subtlety and form be belayed,
For if her actions leak out to the public, it could trace back to us, at that point the least of our concerns will be not getting paid.
KEEPER: Your concerns have been noted agent, however, while our previous security cannot be replicated, I doubt that her death will keep the masses placated.
Or rebuild the Empire she's obliterated.
AGENT: Fine, but if she walks out here alive they'll gut her in the streets.
And I can't guarantee that the mob will the only executioner she'll meet.
Gaaahhh, this whole business makes my skin crawl,
Let's just interrogate Darth Jadus's thrall.
KEEPER: *Sigh* you're right agent, the time for civility is over,
If only a confession and a public execution would set things right, unfortunately that is not a realistic outcome, but I swear I will not leave here without an answer.
Cipher 9 this is Keeper can you hear me?
Look into the light and tell me if you see anything.
You're in the Sith Temple on Dromund Kass, Darth Zhorrid's wing.
We found you lying unconscious next to her body.
If you are the one responsible for her demise it would neither surprise nor perturb me.
However the reports we're receiving from across Imperial space is quite alarming.
Conservative estimates place casualties in the billions, whole worlds consumed by bombings.
While I and the rest of Imperial Intelligence cannot promise you sanctuary,
I will remain silent on your involvement if you wish to void this testimony.
AGENT: You can't be serious Keeper, you know the rules.
Don't you remember what Darth Zhorrid said about Agent 19? "Every traitor deserves a traitor's death, Imperial Intelligence has no room for fools."
KEEPER: And no Darth Zhorrid is dead because of our oversight.
I would know my final mistake that unleashed this hellish blight.
Cipher 9, you were our best agent, well deserving of my praise and the Empire's trust.
But these actions against the Empire go far beyond the world "traitorous".
Well Cipher 9, what do you have to say for yourself?
CIPHER 9: I have done a great many horrid things in the name of the Empire, what is it that you accuse me of Keeper?
KEEPER: Where do I begin Cipher 9?
You joined forces with that sociopathic Sith Darth Jadus in his efforts destroy half the Empire igniting a civil war!
I may not have the absolute authority in this matter but I swear that in this room you will answer for your crimes.
The atrocities you've committed against the Empire would grant you a fate worse than death, but from me, you won't even receive my spit.
CIPHER 9: It's beautiful isn't it?
KEEPER: Cipher 9 if you so much as think that this is a laughing matter you'll lose your teeth.
CIPHER 9: An entire Empire purged by the might of our Emperor and his unstoppable fleet.
KEEPER: "Our" Emperor, really?
Cipher 9 you hate the Sith. You've even dared to say that the Force is a "glorified superstitious trickery".
CIPHER 9: You're right Keeper, I despise the Sith.
Their petty power struggles and senseless war-mongering is the foundation of their flawed religion, ultimately self-destructive and selfish.
KEEPER: What happened up there Cipher?
What managed to change a fearless agent of the Empire into Darth Jadus's pied piper?
CIPHER 9: THAT'S EMPEROR TO YOU CRETINS!
His great and mighty Emperor Jadus revealed to me the incompetence of the Dark Council.
His transcendent power of the Force brought to me an understanding that He and He alone is worthy of placing my faith in.
For without his divine leadership our Empire is doomed to fail.
Emperor Jadus has ascended the mortal boundaries of Sith to rise as the sole omnipotent ruler of the galaxy.
The destruction of the old Empire was necessary to cleanse its blood of its innumerable impurities.
AGENT: Listen to her Keeper she's completely lost her mind!
Let's just waste her now and try to leave Dromund Kass alive.
KEEPER: Wait agent no! let me ask her one more question then you may deal with her as you wish.
AGENT: GAHHH! Alright you've got five minutes while I start up the ship.
CIPHER 9: Wait a moment won't you agent? I have a parting message for you if you wish to listen.
KEEPER: No Cipher 9 you listen!
I realize that..we didn't treat you as well as you deserved,
And I know all too well how the Empire looks down upon aliens but to me, you were the daughter I've always wanted.
Why throw away everything you've accomplished and all that we've given you for Darth Jadus's corruption?!
CIPHER 9: Salvation.
KEEPER: Agent.
AGENT: Yes, sir?
KEEPER: Kill her.
AGENT: With pleasure.
CIPHER 9: A new dawning overtakes the sun in the sky...
KEEPER: Agent subdue her!
CIPHER 9: While the unworthy drown in their own blood we will stand high and dry.
KEEPER: Shoot her! Shoot her now!
CIPHER 9: Chosen as His herald I will spread the world of my Emperor's arrival!
AGENT: KEEPER GET DOWN SHE'S GOT A BOMB!
KEEPER: NO! Don't do this my daughter!
CIPHER 9: FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!!

Haha thank you Rocky :) I was on the Star Wars Wiki the whole time trying to remember the names of people and what happened in the story. I tried to make this one as dark as I could to try and give a sense of what it's like as an Imperial Agent, the cutthroatness of it and all. Plus I love a good story of the good guy being corrupted and enslaved by a powerful Sith (cough cough, Plague the Counselor story cough cough). :)
