Diaries of Desolation
i)
midnight owl
hoots
blinking eye'd
wisely smiling
at the blue moon
ref-lec-tion
on the gloss
enamel
graf-fi-ti
that masks
grimy, wet
black-algae-ridden-rock
walls
and the walls have feelings to
ii)
good graffiti takes
ages
to create
conceive and
develop
[as long as the foundation
of a rock wall
covered in
thick-wet-black-algae
takes to lay]
yet, it peels
like
er-rat-ic sun burnt
skin
in just a blink
of an old owls
eye
and owls have intuition to
iii)
rivers flow past rock
reflecting
blue moons
and winding through
tunnels
meeting
the sun through
forest trees
for short moments
and instants
of refreshing breath
then
they
fall
over
graffiti
covering
thick-wet-black-algae
and algae is a life form to.
