You Give Me Purpose
When I would burn
the world to the ground,
you ground my passions
your pool surrounds
When I would stand
quiet and worthless,
in the darkest of nights
you give me purpose
When I would shine
with nothing in sight,
you give me a path
in the night to light
When I would fight
without a just cause,
you give me the glory
of adoring applause
