Smiles hide the sad eyes that cry while no one really sees the mask that we keep. The truth is words can hurt, causing scares that mark the places they have touched. A cut like that runs deeper than you ever could have thought leaving behind a world of hurt.
Relationships are not what they used to be. Caught up in trends people looking for feelings in all the wrong places. I sit around looking at their faces, reading their body language. It's simply amazing at what you can see if you get out of your own way.

It brings on images of being still in a bleak, colorless urban landscape with blurred figures swirling around, but slowly they slow down and come into focus and one sees they are all in the same mold as you.
