Artifical man

Been awake way to long
Stay asleep, I never been so wrong
But its my mind, life-flower of the dead
Made my mind up, and rolled in bed
Never change, I am disengaged
Its alright, so I am told
By those who never backstroked
Down a pipe that ends in ruins
I am glue of traps
I am you're shame-shroud
Just an artificial man
Passing through

Stunning in its shine
Fellow teardrop
River-running salt licker
Swiftly swiping my flicker
And the sounding board
For fighting nights
All my pride, asleep
The hate, so great
My fallacy, a fantasy
I'm an artificial man
Passing through

This reality I never belong too
The hanging tree drips with dew
As midnight comes crashing through
Like an ocean wave
Been siting all its thrill
But now I've had my fill
And I was long gone..
I was long gone through...

 ...when I was ten
I hope I'd live again
I die now and then
Raped by sticky fingers
And they still linger
I lost you in the maze
In the black haze
Of lost words, and yesterdays
Dressed in your finery
Fighting in my army
Within
I am an artificial man
Just fading through
