Never Let You Go

I walked away years ago,yes it was hard to let go. Carrying this pain around for all these years,even had nights I couldn't stop the tears. In and out of relationships that weren't true,all I had to do was stick next to you. Heart aching from the lost love it once received,gotta get you back to me please hear my plea. Broken,torn and even scorned from ones I tried to show love,when happiness was my aim but it seems a hole for me was always dug. Sleepless nights and long dragged out days,for all the good I've done it seems heartache in return was my pay.
